Privacy Notice

Effective 25 July 2026

This notice explains how CargoGoWhere collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use our website, Web Chat, account access, MCP services, and related channels.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use CargoGoWhere, we may collect:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, account status, roles, and access permissions.
  • Chat and cargo information, including prompts, air waybill numbers, tracking requests, cargo questions, feedback, and structured results shown in Chat or Canvas.
  • Channel information, such as linked MCP, Telegram, WhatsApp, or other supported-channel identifiers when those features are enabled.
  • Usage and security information, including timestamps, request identifiers, audit events, rate-limit events, browser or device information, IP address, and service diagnostics.
  • Subscription information, including plan, activation status, permissions, and fair-use records.

2. How we use information

We use information for reasonable purposes connected with operating CargoGoWhere, including to:

  • authenticate users and control access to protected services;
  • process cargo tracking and cargo-knowledge requests;
  • maintain conversation history, tracking history, and structured results where enabled;
  • operate subscriptions, rate limits, service monitoring, security controls, and audit records;
  • diagnose incidents, improve service quality, and develop supported features;
  • respond to support, privacy, access, correction, and consent-withdrawal requests; and
  • comply with legal, regulatory, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

3. Information you should not submit

Do not place passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical information, or unrelated confidential personal data in Chat prompts. Only provide cargo and contact information reasonably needed for the request.

4. How information may be disclosed

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • airlines, carrier systems, tracking providers, and other cargo-data sources used to answer a request;
  • authentication, hosting, database, messaging, monitoring, and infrastructure providers acting for the service;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect users, the service, or others; and
  • a successor operator in connection with a restructuring, transfer, or sale of the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

5. Cookies and local storage

Protected CargoGoWhere services use authentication cookies needed to keep you signed in. Web Chat may also use browser local storage for conversation identifiers, interface state, and recent transcript display. Blocking required storage may prevent protected features from working correctly.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice, including service operation, security, dispute handling, legal obligations, and legitimate record-keeping. Retention periods may vary by data type. Data that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymised, or made inaccessible using reasonable measures.

7. Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or similar risks. CargoGoWhere and its providers may process information in Singapore and other locations. Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we seek to use arrangements that provide a comparable standard of protection as required by applicable law.

8. Access, correction, and withdrawal

You may ask about personal data held by CargoGoWhere, request correction of inaccurate information, or withdraw consent for future collection, use, or disclosure where applicable. Withdrawal may mean that some protected services can no longer be provided. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

9. Data incidents

We assess suspected personal-data incidents and will make notifications to affected individuals and relevant authorities when required by applicable law.

10. Children

CargoGoWhere is intended for business and cargo-information use and is not directed to children. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate permission.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service, channels, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service.

12. Privacy contact

For privacy questions, complaints, access or correction requests, or consent withdrawal, contact the CargoGoWhere privacy representative at privacy@cargogowhere.com.
